Another New Show: Fresh Perspective – Life of Pi (also its my 1 year anniversary of RR)

So I have another new show; this time something move movie based again so my content is 50/50 for games. Anyway this show looks at films and games that I’ve just tried for the first time. They won’t always be new releases but it’ll allow me to talk about things I didn’t like that i wouldn’t consider for a Why You Should episode.

So the big film that both Super Sentai and Kamen Rider shows have been leading too after the first cross over with Decade and Shinkenger almost 4 years ago. Clashing anniversary series for each show; the Gokaiger’s and Kamen Rider Decade at the fore front of the biggest super hero on screen clash of all time.

But was it worthy of all the hype and at the end of the day is it worth your time?

Sweet Fever!… A Series with Pillow Fighting and Candy, Need I Say More?

Today I’ll be looking at something new on the online series scene that I was introduced to by series screenwriter Oliver Blackenbury (who seems to have taken to calling me Carl). At the moment the first series isn’t complete as the creators are trying to raise money for the last and biggest and from what I’ve scene of the show so far I hope that they do. So let’s take a look at Sweet Fever, a show with one hell of an off the wall concept… Professional Pillow Fighting… yeah I bet I have your attention now!

Today I begin my bridge into books with a look at something i woudl hope you’ve been reading if you liked the film as much as I did.

This is one of those rare occasions that I actually think the film does a better job in a lot of places then the book actually did.

Kiba: Gaiden (GARO) Review

Back again.. and now I’m tackeling GARO… or at least a side story of the show…

GARO as a franchise is doing quite well as a franchise at the moment. The first major film Red Requiem hit the cinemas, the second series Makai Senki finished and now a second film following that has been announced. So lets look at Kiba Gaiden, a DVD spin off released to co inside with the first film’s release that explores the origins of the villain of the original series Barago, or Kiba the Dark Knight

My Thoughts On: Power Rangers Samurai / Super Samurai

Volcano High

Volcano High has a troubled history; famed for a rather harsh and horrid (yet funny as hell, if for the wrong reasons) from being dubbed over by a bunch of rap artists; courtesy of MTV, in a rather badly cut mess. However that isn’t going to be the subject of this review. I’m looking at the original full cut of the film that was released in Korea. Not the highly cut and edited MTV version of the UK cut (which fairs alot better)
